CCTV

Munster Security has the knowledge and expertise to design, install and maintain the right system for any situation no matter how problematic or complex.

Our CCTV department is renowned for its high standard of installations. This is largely due to the care taken in designing the system, and choosing the highest quality equipment to deliver the best results.

Digital technology has advanced to provide far superior picture quality, enabling many users other than traditional security markets to use it, but increasingly such systems are also used as a valuable management information tool, with applications including building management, personal attendance, process monitoring and traffic control.

Digital storage systems enable large amounts of data to be stored and recalled when necessary. With a digital storage system there is no need for a video recorder and the associated ongoing maintenance costs.

1.   No VCR Tapes to store and change on a daily basis

2.   No requirement to fill out a Data Protection Tape Log on a daily basis

3.   No requirement to replace the old VCR Tapes with new on an annual basis

4.   No requirement to purchase a new Data Protection Pack on an annual basis

5.   No VCR wear & tear or need to replace the VCR or Tape Heads on an annual basis

6.   Access to Playback whilst the system is still recording

7.   Pin point accuracy to date and time of incident with the click of a mouse

8.   High Quality of Images.

9.   Easy to use Windows based software operating system

10. Facility to network to your existing PC or view over a broadband connection

Components of C.C.T.V.

Recording device (DVR)
A digital storage system is employed to capture and store the images from 1 to 16 cameras. Additional storage systems can be linked to allowadditional cameras to be connected. A hard drive is the medium onto which the images are stored. The system can also be linked to an existing LAN (local area network) or connected via the internet to a remote computer, where live images and stored images can be reviewed (ISDN high speed connections are recommended to ensure a high video transfer rate).

Video Motion Detection

All of our digital recording systems employ Video Motion Detection Technology. When movement is detected by any camera on the system the images/data are stored onto the Hard Drive and when movement ceases the system will continue to record for a preset time thereafter. By using this technology the system only records useful events and maximises the storage capacity.

FLAT SCREEN LCD MONITORS
High resolution SVGA monitors can be connected directly to the digital storage system to allow replay of stored events and monitoring of live events.  Alternatively, images can be viewed directly from your own PC if the system is networked either directly or via an existing LAN (Local Area Network).

Pan, tilt and zoom
Pan, Tilt & Zoom units (PTZ), are used to enable the movement of a designated camera remotely via a PTZ Controller. The  PTZ Controller unit allows the operator to move the camera up, down, left and right, and also to control the zoom functions of the camera.   The PTZ Camera can also be controlled via the mouse on your PC providing the system is connected to your existing LAN.
Cameras & Housings
Cameras come in numerous designs from covert cameras to conventional cameras housed within a wide selection of enclosures to suit the required environment.

Monochrome cameras are used for extreme low light applications due to their ability to work in conjunction with infra-red illumination.

Colour cameras are used for the majority of applications and enable high quality images to beproduced in a variety of lighting levels.

Day/night cameras use the technology from both monochrome and colour cameras by using colour during the day and switching to monochrome when the light drops below a pre-set level.

Testimonials

Hi Tony

I just wanted to e-mail to say “Thank you so much for all your help with our house alarm”.
Both the guys that fitted the alarm were very professional and helpful.
I am absolutely thrilled with the work and the finish is great!
Please say thank you to the two guys (one was Robert) for leaving my house as they found it (couldn’t believe they even hoovered up!)

Thanks again.

Myself and my husband will definitely be recommending you to family, friends and also other ******** workers.

Kind Regards
